This event is hosted by the Copyright Society of Australia and the inaugural Kevin Lindgren Prize of $4000 for the best student presentation on copyright will be awarded on the night.
University students at all levels of study are invited to prepare a presentation on copyright, with three finalists given the opportunity to deliver their presentation at the event. The winner will be chosen on the night, with the winner and their university both receiving $2,000. Entries are open now, with each university now having until 19 September 2011 to nominate students.
The prize is established by the Copyright Society of Australia and named after Kevin Lindgren, a former Judge of the Federal Court of Australia and former president of the Copyright Tribunal.
