The year in review: the cases, the election and the clarity of distance
Post election, post symposium, it’s the Christmas Party we had to have.
With the clarity that comes from having spent six years away from Sydney, Michael Hall examines developments in copyright: the cases, the issues, the players. Is it a case of the more things change the more they stay the same? A practitioner with experience as solicitor, barrister and academic, Michael’s observations may educate, should enlighten and cannot fail to entertain.
Michael practised in Sydney as an intellectual property solicitor before being called to the bar in 1999. He has returned to the Sydney bar having spent the past six years teaching intellectual property law at the University of Oxford.
